Body Intuition™
is a 10 week group program utilizing an integrative approach to address weight management.  The group utilizes education, group discussion, and hands on exercises to help participants become successful in behavior modification.  Body Intuition™ participants meet in a group each week and are taught different topics that approach the solution to weight management and healthy lifestyle change.  Each individual will set small goals based on the topic of each week.  As the weeks go on, more topics will be introduced and goal setting will be continued week by week.  The participants success is in practicing these changes week after week until the changes become ingrained and habitual.

• exercise prescription
• stress management
• talking back to negative thoughts
• portion control
• emotional eating
• social support
• mindful eating
• problem solving skills
• time management
• how to deal with slips and plateaus
• how to deal with cravings and knowing when you are full, and lastly continuing success.

Body Intuition™ is a program that integrates the psychological and physical aspects of weight management in order to set realistic and maintainable goals for healthy lifestyle change.

Body Intuition™ participants receive a 50 minute guided imagery CD as a supportive resource throughout program to help enhance weight loss, positive body image, and relaxation.
