Intuitive Walking
The Intuitive Walking™ Program is an 8-week exploration of developing a mindfulness practice through walking meditation. The benefit of mindfulness allows one to attend to the present moment. In the western world, we typically lead very busy lives with technology driving the pace. The hours of multi-tasking and always doing leaves no space to breathe, connect, or just be. The practice of mindfulness allows one to slow down and a variety of benefits are:
• enhanced concentration
• restored immunity
• inner calm
• cultivation of compassion for oneself and others
• mood regulation
• increased physical well-being
This class incorporates the use of walking, nature, breath, vision, rhythm, and words to promote a meditation practice to increase quality of life and mental clarity. This class is open to any age or fitness level.
