Wellness together: bringing community support to your practice

Community programs

Intuitive Wellness partners with organizations around the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond to teach health and wellness classes, seminars, workshops and retreats.

Health educator Carley Hauck, MA, founder of Intuitive Wellness, is passionate about bringing people together to learn about health and wellness. She leads programs on mindful eating, stress reduction, setting healthy intentions, mindfulness 101, nutrition, yoga, lovingkindness and compassion, and cooking, bringing her thoughtful, compassionate approach to living a healthy life to hundreds of people.

Carley’s public classes and workshops have taken place at the Jewish Community Center San Francisco, the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center, the Mindful Body, 18 Reasons, the Mindfulness Care Center, the HUB Bay Area, The Root & the Branch, Whole Family MD, East Bay Healing Collective, Hazon Food Conference and the Playa Viva resort.

Mindful eatingMindful Cooking

Imagine sitting around a table with a like-minded group. Now close your eyes and really taste an olive. Feel the pop of its skin, the softness of the flesh, the roughness of the pit. That’s just a taste of what you’ll experience in one of Carley’s Mindful Eating classes.

Carley herself, with a background in nutrition education, psychology and motivation, traded emotional eating for mindful eating. Based on her own experiences and up-to-the-minute evidence-based research, Carley has guided individual clients and groups as they made the switch from mindless eating to healthy – and very tasty – eating.

Savor Your Life retreats

If learning together at home is fun and empowering, imagine the delight and transformational power of a week of yoga, community, quiet, meditation, and sunshine – all in a comfortable resort setting. With the added time to focus, participants can settle in, slow down, relax and learn the foundations of mindfulness for their whole life. Like the slow food movement, Savor Your Life retreats encourage participants to give up the bustle of daily life in favor of savoring the moment.

Learn more about Intuitive Wellness’ next Savor Your Life retreat here. We hope you can join us.
